Nikola Farad S.F.R.: EV Education by Daniel Williams
By: Mae Cornes
Daniel Lee Williams has spent over three decades under the hood of gasoline-fueled cars, diagnosing problems and fixing engines. But somewhere between the wrenches and oil changes, he saw the environmental damage these vehicles caused. That realization steered him onto a new path, where he created an environmental mascot named Nikola Farad S.F.R. (Scientific Fact Robot).
Williams didn’t just stumble into this role; he crafted it. He created Nikola Farad to educate people about the environmental havoc caused by fossil fuels and to promote the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs). “I repair cars every day, and I see the harm they’re doing,” Williams said. This insight sparked his mission to change how the world views and uses transportation.
